The 80s, we were the true free birds. Imagination ruled every afternoon and best friends filled every minute of it. Wearing our corduroy shorts and jelly shoes we inspired a generation of engineers, inventors and business men and women to create some of the very best toys and tv characters that still hold up today. I have the fondest memories riding bikes with my Sister, Tea Parties and scabbed knees. I played outside from sun up to sun down. Riding all over our small safe Town we'd stop at almost anyones house for a drink from the hose. Get a waive and maybe a cookie before heading back to our adventures. We knew we were loved and we knew we'd be in big trouble if we were ever caught doing something we shouldn't. We had Birthday Parties at Mc Donalds and it was really cool to do so.
Saturday Mornings with our Smurf TV Trays, eating a bowl of Mr T Cereal, wearing our My Little Pony nightgowns watching He-Man Masters of the Universe will continue to be some of my fondest memories to date. I am an 80s Kid and I welcome you to our 80s Kids Rule Blog!
